Because music licensing is a legal contract, not a free-for-all, and artists have both moral and legal standing to control what their work endorses!

Definitely agree! I heard they took it down following her outcry, but unsure if that was related (or true for that matter).

That's a good question. It could have been her outcry, but it might've also been a legal cease-and-desist or just standard protocol when they get called out publicly. Either way, the pressure from artists definitely matters.
